EXECUTIVE SHIRT SERVICE

We have shopped the world and invested in state of the art shirt-finishing technology that will produce the highest quality shirt finishing available in Edmonton. Shirt collars are automatically tensioned in the finishing process to virtually eliminate shrinkage. Our cleaning process removes all stains that can be removed safely, and ensures a PH factor to match your skin's natural PH for your added comfort.

Starch options available and all orders are processed with a touch of l softener.

The Press Gallery's Executive Shirt Service is available on most cotton and cotton-poly blends with a 14.5" to 17.5" neck size. The Press Gallery will hand finish smaller or larger shirts and blouses.

Your FOLDED shirts are all hand folded to prevent heavy creases

Important information about Blouse and Shirt Commercial Laundry:
This process is uniquely suited to blouses and shirts designed to survive the rigor of a commercial laundry process and the high temperature needed to finish (press) the shirt. This category of blouse shirt, typically referred to as the "business shirt", consists of 100% cotton or a polyester/cotton fibres blend with no more than 65% polyester content. These materials are ideally suited to the commercial laundry process. Automated technology, namely the commercial press finishing buck, dramatically reduces the labour cost of professional pressing.

There are many constraints for using this process. The buttons and other features of the shirt must be able to withstand over 300 degree Fahrenheit of finishing temperatures. Neck size constrained between 14.5" and 18.5" to fit the automated press finishing buck. Petite and extra-large sizes will not work and the shirt has to be designed to fit the standard buck-size, and therefore cannot have shoulder pads. Newer, dark-coloured shirts can fade or sheen after repeated use of commercial laundry process, therefore we highly recommend laundered hand-pressing/finishing.

If a blouse shirt fits the above constraints, then we are happy to provide you with this excellent lower-cost service, giving you a clean and crispness you expect from our professional service.

SUEDE & LEATHER

THE PRESS GALLERY IS PROUD TO BE EDMONTON'S EXCLUSIVE AGENT FOR

Trillium The Leather Cleaner
Premier Suede and Leather Service Provider in Canada

GIMME SOME SKIN!

For many of us a precious component of our valuable wardrobe is good quality, expensive suede or leather garments. These pieces range from a rugged casual style to a very detailed formal look. Unlike other items in our closet these garments require a very unique cleaning process designed specifically for the revitalization and maintenance of a natural animal hide.

Just as your own skin needs oils (lotions) to maintain its soft, smooth appearance so does your natural skin garment. Over time your suedes and leathers dry and loose their natural oils. Part of the Leather Craft professional cleaning process is to re-oil skins to revive the softness.

A second step to the revitalization process is the re-dying of most suede and leather garments. Through regular wear and part of the cleaning process some of the original dye colour will be lost. Leather Craft Cleaners hand mixes each dye to achieve the closest colour match possible. (always remember to clean coordinate pieces together to insure exact colour match).

The final procedure includes "shower proofing" of each garment. This coating will help prevent future stains (body oils, food, rain marks) from setting deep into the skin causing permanent damage.

With regular wear most suede and leathers need to be cleaned once every couple of years to remove soil build up and revive oils lost in wear. Leather Craft's professional leather cleaning method ensures your suede and leathers will last you a lifetime.

It is important to note that stains on Suede and leathers, unlike on cloth, can re dye or chemically bind to the hide and therefore can not always be safely removed as readily as on cloth garments. Dying will not mask most stains that can not be removed, leathers hardened by age or fading due to oxidized colour loss. Returning your Suede and Leather garments to it's original colour therefore can not be guaranteed. What is guaranteed is that we will do our best but we can not turn back time!

Danier Leather Recommends Trillium The Leather Cleaner Agents to all their customers!

RESTORATIONS

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL INDUSTRIES / INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED WITH FIRE, FLOOD and STORAGE DAMAGE RESTORATION

The Press Gallery™ is very pleased to announce that most textile items that have had irreversible smoke, water, and storage damage in the past can now be recovered due to our investment of the newest leading edge technology available around the world.
  • dryclean only items (wool, satin, rayon)
  • stuffed animals
  • silk plants
  • area rugs
  • suede and leathers
  • drapery
  • hats
  • pillows/cushions
Our two major investments to assist in smoke and water damage are the revolutionary Miele Solvent Free System that enables us to remove 'wet side' stains on 'dry side' items, and our Ozone Chamber which eliminates odours.

The Press Gallery employs some of Edmonton's top accredited production technicians. They maximize their depth of textile care knowledge by disassembling many multi component garments, cleaning each piece as required, then reassembling as new. We have successfully relaxed shrinkage enabling us to block items to original size, masked color loss, and incorporated invisible mending to recover many types of damage.

The technicians' knowledge and expertise has earned The Press Gallery some very prestigious textile care projects.

Complete flood damage restoration of hundreds of military historic uniforms from The Loyal Edmonton Regiment Museum

Revitalization of a valuable native textile art piece hanging in the Royal Alexandra Hospital

Maintenance of the detailed uniforms of the Pipes and Drums of the Edmonton Transit (specializing in their kilts and ostrich feather bonnets)

Although we cannot guarantee all damaged items can be recovered our success rates exceed percentages of the past.

All restoration work is detailed and requires special handling. Please allow extra time and surcharges do apply.
